Initialization of E-Tracking Light RFID labels

Activation of RFID labels for international consignment tracking (Track & Trace)

For international mail order companies, Swiss Post offers an inexpensive option for tracking and tracing small goods consignments up to 2 kg. Activate your RFID labels before mailing your consignments. You can view all consignment events at Swiss Post’s “Track consignments (Track & Trace)” online service.

Instructions

Single Item

Use this option if you want to initiate only single consignments.

  1. Item Identifier (S10.ID): Please enter the 13-digit barcode (AxxxxxxxxxxCH) for your consignment here.
  2. Destination Country: Select the destination country for your consignment here.
  3. Sender Reference: Leave this field blank or use it for customer-specific information (e.g. customer numbers).
  4. Initiate Item: Click here to initiate the consignment.

Range of Items

Use this option if you are sending multiple items with consecutively numbered E-Tracking Light labels to the same destination country.

  1. First Item Identifier (S10.ID): Enter the first 13-digit barcode (AxxxxxxxxxxCH) for your consignments with consecutively numbered E-Tracking Light labels.
  2. Last Item Identifier (S10.ID): Enter the last 13-digit barcode (AxxxxxxxxxxCH) for your consignments with consecutively numbered E-Tracking Light labels.
  3. Destination Country: Select the destination country for your consignments with consecutively numbered E-Tracking Light labels.
  4. Initiate Range: Click here to initiate your consignments. The system automatically calculates the barcodes between the first and last numbers.

Upload

Use this option if you want to initiate items using a .csv file.

  1. Select file…: Click here to upload a .csv file.
  2. A .csv file can contain up to 100 barcode numbers.
  3. A barcode range is not required. All individual barcode numbers in the .csv file are initiated when uploaded.
  4. The .csv file must contain a valid S10 barcode and the destination country (valid ISO country code). An optional sender reference for customer-specific information can also be added (maximum 35 characters).
  5. Ensure that the data in the .csv file adheres to the following logic: e.g. AV123456789CH;US;Sender Ref.
