Responsible consumption and production

Swiss Post has an impact on the targets 12.5, 12.6, 12.7 and 12.8 as it:

• plays an important role as an essential link in the circular economy, by avoiding and reducing waste and by reusing and recycling products and their components,
• uses its old batteries from electric scooters in a pilot project as energy storage units in buildings with solar systems,
• provides detailed, consistent information about sustainability aspects on its communication channels and raises public awareness,
• integrates sustainability criteria into its procurement processes and promotes transparency in the supply chain.
