What you need for Letter with ID check

Only business customers with a billing relationship can send letters with ID check and contract signing.

You enter your customer data via the call center or during the digital onboarding process. Swiss Post will obtain the contract signature or electronic copy of the ID document on your behalf. The data is transferred back to you through the DataTransfer interface. Thanks to automatic Track & Trace, you have your consignments under control at all times.

Identification and contract signing are available only for private individuals at home addresses.

The following ID documents are accepted:

  • Passport
  • Identity card
  • Foreigners’ residence permit
