Swiss Post has an impact on the targets 8.2, 8.4 to 8.8 and 8.10 as it:

• ensures higher economic productivity via modernization and innovation and with over 16,000 jobs in Switzerland’s peripheral regions,
• provides around 56,000 staff with equal pay for work of equal value and coordinates working conditions with social partners,
• commits itself to freedom from discrimination, equal pay and health and safety through its Code of Conduct and its current nine collective employment contracts,
• particularly encourages young people and people with disabilities with around 1,900 apprenticeships and inclusion measures,
• runs a broad prevention programme with the aim of promoting a sustainable professional future for its staff and substantially co-finances individual advanced training,
• increases resource efficiency with ambitious energy efficiency and climate goals, and endeavours to decouple economic growth and environmental destruction,
• categorically opposes forced labour, modern slavery and child labour and demands the same from its suppliers.
