Swiss-Express “Day” how it works

Here’s how it works

  • Provide consignment data

    You send your consignment data with the “Manage Innight consignments” online service or via EDI interface.

  • Have goods collected

    You prepare your goods. Then we’ll collect them from Monday to Friday in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

  • Customs clearance

    We handle export and import customs clearance directly at our sites.

  • Goods are received

    We deliver your consignments throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Swiss-Express “Day” from Monday to Friday. 

  • Returns, containers and recycling material are collected

    We take care of any empty, return or other containers and packaging materials, either for recycling or return shipment.

Europe-wide collection
Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Italy and the Principality of Liechtenstein

We collect your consignments throughout Europe. Collection times are agreed individually with you based on transport volumes. The following times serve as a guideline:

Delivery in Switzerland and Liechtenstein
Delivery by 5 p.m., or by 12 p.m. as an optional extra.

Arrange signed-for delivery of your consignment with our day courier service Swiss-Express “Day”. Switzerland-wide by 5 p.m. or Central Switzerland by 12 p.m., if it’s particularly urgent.

Rich Content Section

You can send the following types of goods with Swiss-Express “Day”:

  • Goods that a driver can handle using a trolley or pallet truck.
  • Goods with a maximum length of 300 cm and a maximum girth (2 x height + 2 x width + longest side) of 400 cm.
  • Goods weighing up to a maximum of 62.5 kg per transport unit (heavier weights upon request).
  • Transport for consignments without packaging and bulky goods is also possible.
  • Goods that are packaged securely for transportation and the nature of which does not constitute a threat to the environment or to the health and safety of Swiss Post’s employees.
  • Dangerous goods up to 1,000 ADR points.
