Deposit authorization
Your order for deposit allows us to leave your parcels in a safe place protected from the weather. Let us know free of charge where we can leave your parcels. This means you can receive parcels even if you’re not at home. Smaller parcels that fit in your private letter box will be delivered there.

- By the entrance to the building
If the location is unclear or not secure, we’ll invite you to collect your consignment from your branch.

Frequently asked questions
With a verified customer account in the “My Post” customer portal, you can configure permanent settings for receiving parcels. To do this, go to the recipient settings.
If recipient settings are not available for your address or are not available for other reasons, they will not be displayed or cannot be selected.
The recipient settings do not apply to certain consignments with special characteristics (e.g. small parcels from abroad with a consignment number beginning with 98, other small parcels categorized as letters and other special parcel consignments). Instructions to the contrary by the sender may also result in delivery being carried out differently. No separate notification is sent for this. More information on delivery to My Post 24 terminals.
Smaller parcels that fit in the private letter box are delivered there. This does not apply to registered parcels without authorization for delivery and to parcels with delivery to an upper floor.
With the exception of the “Desired day” and “Delivery to My Post 24 / PickPost access point” recipient settings, you can override all your recipient settings using individual orders.
As a “My consignments” customer, you will be informed in good time if a parcel is on its way from abroad and import costs are due. We will notify you by SMS, e-mail or push notification via the Post-App. You can pay the import costs easily online with the PostFinance Card, PostFinance e-finance, TWINT, Mastercard, Visa or American Express.
Import costs include state duties for customs and VAT, as well as other fees and service costs for customs clearance that are incurred in connection with the import of your consignment.
- Log in to the “My Post” customer portal.
- Go to My profile → Address
If your address is verified, you will see “Address confirmed”. Otherwise, you have the option of requesting an activation code which we will send to you by post at the address you entered. As soon as you have entered the code in the “My Post” customer portal using the details in the letter, the address will be activated. You will start receiving the notifications immediately and your consignments will be shown in the consignment overview.
“My consignments” is aimed at private customers. Customers with a billing relationship/franking licence/Swiss Post customer number can benefit from services specifically tailored to meet the needs of business customers, such as “Receive consignments” “Track consignments” or the “Swiss Post delivery list”.
