Return shipment with a shipping label

Return shipment using a shipping label from the online retailer

Each return parcel needs a shipping label. In most cases, the online retailer will send a shipping label with your order. The available options are described below.

Shipping label with the remark “GAS” = free return shipment

Do you have a preprinted return label with the remark “GAS” (business reply label)? If so, the online retailer will cover all the costs for the return shipment and collection.

You can request free collection of the return item (GAS) at your home via pick@home.

Shipping label with consignment barcode, beginning with the digits 99.01... = shipping charges discounted by CHF 1.50

The online retailer has enclosed a preprinted shipping label with a consignment barcode beginning with the digits 99.01.... with your order. This means that you benefit from a price reduction of CHF 1.50 on the normal shipping price when posting the parcel.

You can request free collection of the return item (99.01....) at your home via pick@home.

Return shipment without a shipping label

In this case, two options are available.

Option 1

Many online retailers have integrated pick@home directly into their online shops. If this is the case, you can arrange for collection directly via the shop. The mail carrier brings the required shipping label when collecting the item, affixes it to the parcel which is ready for shipment and then immediately takes it away for posting.

Option 2

If the online retailer has not integrated pick@home into its online shop, you can create, print out and affix the shipping label to your parcel, using the “Domestic parcel labels” online service.

You can request a fee-based collection of this parcel at your home using the “Domestic parcel labels” online service or drop off the item at a Swiss Post access point.
