With the API Address verification, you reduce the number of items returned as a result of false or fraudulent addresses. It compares personalized addresses (with name), addresses without a name (street, house number, postcode and town only) or parts of an address with Swiss Post’s master data, even while your customer is entering their details in your online shop. The system uses autocomplete for the registration process.

By checking that addresses are authentic and up-to-date, incorrect information is identified and returns are minimized. A prerequisite is a billing relationship with Swiss Post.
