A Mail is the most efficient dispatch option for sending your letters. Letters are reliably delivered on time the next working day – including Saturdays, of course. A Mail adds value to your correspondence: it indicates important content, is a sign of the high regard in which you hold the recipient and receives greater attention as a result. A Mail offers you guaranteed faster delivery speed and the maximum level of attention – and offers good value for money. What’s more, you always know precisely when your letter mail will be delivered.
Delivery on the next working day after posting – including Saturdays.
In order to guarantee delivery on the next working day, A Mail letters must be handed in at the branch counter by the usual close of business – but by no later than 6.30 p.m. (in the case of branches with longer opening hours). Different closing times for acceptance will be provided by the relevant branches.
Letter boxes: Mail must be deposited before the last clearance of the letter box for A Mail (see details on letter boxes).
For letters handed over or posted after the cut-off times, the following day will be deemed to be the day of posting.
A Mail must be clearly marked with the letter “A” (sticker, stamp, as part of the IFS impression or the PP franking impression, or handwritten).
Swiss Post does not accept any liability.
