PostPac Priority and Bulky goods Priority
Parcel delivery on the next working day

PostPac Priority is usually delivered the next working day. Parcels are not delivered on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Posting and delivery

PostPac Priority can be posted on any working day until the acceptance cut-off time. Acceptance cut-off times may vary between acceptance points. You can find our acceptance points, in addition to their acceptance cut-off times and collection times, in the location search.

For business customers:

• Collection: until late afternoon
• Drop-off at a distribution base: until late afternoon
• Fee-based value-added services: Time slot delivery and Saturday delivery

PostPac Priority parcels must have the following dimensions:

Weight: 100 g to 30 kg

Format: from A6 (10.5 x 14.8 cm) to 100 x 60 x 60 cm

Parcels larger than this count as bulky goods.

Ensure that the maximum permissible weights and dimensions are observed. You should always split consignments into several parcels.

If we receive parcels that are too heavy or oversized, we will, as an exception, deliver them by the most appropriate means and in accordance with our capabilities. This ensures that your parcel reaches its recipient as quickly as possible, saves on transport and means that you don’t have to collect the parcel. We reserve the right to restrict the range of services for these parcels. We apply the following surcharges for expenses incurred:

• CHF 100 (excluding VAT) for weights up to 40 kg
• CHF 135 (excluding VAT) if the weight exceeds 40 kg or the maximum dimensions are exceeded

If we cannot deliver the consignment, you will be required to pay the same surcharge for return shipment. No surcharge is applied for forwarding consignments.

Business customers with a billing relationship: you can find details of your parcels in the “View processing statementTarget not accessible” online service. For large and heavy parcels, please use our range of products for small consignments.

With correct addressing and packaging, your parcels will reach their recipients quickly and securely.

In the event of loss, damage or incorrect delivery, Post CH Ltd is liable up to a maximum of CHF 500 in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for private customers (PDF, 96.8 KB) or the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for business customers (PDF, 116.1 KB) without value-added service.

For parcels forwarded to another address at the request of the recipient, the recipient must pay a flat fee of CHF 8.00 (incl. VAT), regardless of the weight of the parcel. If the recipient returns the parcel to you after receiving it, this is deemed a reconsignment, and the corresponding parcel price must be paid. Notified parcels and express items that cannot be delivered or remain uncollected will be subject to tax and returned to the sender via the PostPac Economy or Bulky goods Economy service, depending on the format (for return shipments, a surcharge of CHF 0.50 incl. VAT is levied). The corresponding price is charged to the recipient for any forward shipments and to the original sender for any returns.
